Why book your Tenerife villa direct
Most people find a holiday villa on one of the big booking platforms, and there is nothing wrong with that. But when the people who own and run the house also take the bookings, going to them directly changes a few things that matter. Here is how it works with our two villas in Costa Adeje, and where a platform may still suit you better.
The price you see is ours
Each villa page shows a calendar with the nightly rate for every date. Those are our own rates, set by us for each season. When you book with us, no booking-platform service fee is added on top, and nobody stands between what you pay and what we receive.
You talk to the people who hand you the keys
A request on this site is read by us, not by a call centre. We confirm availability personally within 24 hours, and the same people who answer your first message meet you at the door. If you want to know whether the pool is warm in January, how far the beach really is, or whether a cot fits in the second bedroom, you get the answer from someone who has been in the house this week.
Terms you can read before you ask
Our booking terms are short and public. A 30% deposit secures the dates, and the balance is due 30 days before you arrive. Cancellation is free up to 60 days before check-in, with the deposit refunded in full. A request is not a booking until we have confirmed it, so you are never charged for dates we cannot give you.
A concierge who lives here
Every stay includes a daily concierge, and because we live in Tenerife all year we can arrange things before you land: an airport transfer, a table at the restaurants around El Duque, a yacht charter, or sunrise on Teide without the queue. Booking direct means those conversations start with your first email rather than on the day you arrive.
When a platform is the better choice
If you want an instant confirmation at two in the morning, prefer to pay through an account you already use, or collect loyalty points, a platform does that well. We answer within a day, not within a second. We think the day is worth it, but it is your holiday.
How to book direct
- Choose your house: the beachfront Villa El Duque Ocean View with its heated pool, or Villa El Duque with its garden, 400 m from Playa de Fañabé. Both sleep eight, with a minimum stay of seven nights.
- Check the calendar for your dates and the rate for each night.
- Send the request form with your dates and the number of guests.
- We reply personally within 24 hours to confirm, and send the details for the deposit.
